Worth The Wait

This song was originally written for some dear friends who were in the process of adopting their son, Theo from China. They had asked me to sing a few songs at a fundraiser/benefit for their adoption and I opted to surprise them with the most unique gift I know how to give - writing them a song. That night, I had the incredible privilege of singing this song.

Growing up, my family went through an adoption process with one of my siblings so I understood firsthand the excitement, anticipation and the sometimes difficulty of the adoption process.

We are all waiting for something. Whether you’re waiting for a child, a loved one to return home from deployment or for waiting for the fulfillment of a dream not yet realized, I want to encourage you with this. This season is only temporary. The wait is always worth it.
