Embrace The Unknown

The week before Christmas I took a 36 hour trip with my son to Colorado. 

I needed to take one more flight to go into 2020 with Southwest A-list. So my flight turned into a trip I’ll never forget. 

Sometimes the most unexpected roads lead to the most meaningful destinations. 

Don’t get me wrong. This new year is going to be filled with slowdowns and setbacks. But remember that it’s about the journey as much, if not more than it is about the destination. 

Embrace the unknown rather than shrinking back from it. 

Will there be surprises? Sure. 

Disappointments? Unfortunately, yes. 

But for better or worse, if we face the new year with our mantra being, “let’s storm the earth,” we will undoubtably come our stronger, more resilient and overcomers.
