Outside Of Grace

A lot of people have asked about this song, where it came from.  

It was a cold day this past December when I got word of multiple friends who were going through tough stuff.  The notifications just seemed to hit like a 1-2 punch to the gut. 

One was back in the hospital fighting chronic illness, another had a just had a tragic accident that required surgery, and on and on.

When we hit moments like these, we realize and recognize how very little control we have over this life.  And so, in the best way I knew how to express my encouragement, this song was born. 

It didn’t have hours of tweaking and editing.  The original voice memo was only 8 minutes long.  But it says everything it needs to say.

Remember friends - there is enough grace for today.  Even when you feel like it’s gone, there’s just a little bit more.  Just keep going.
