Weather it be a song that invites the listener and singer to join the recognition of God at work or a song that beckons the weary soul to find rest, I consider it a true privilege to unearth and express what I believe many people are searching for:
Language to describe what we know to be true about God as we wrestle with life's uncertainty and the complexity of this world that we live in.

Songwriting is like breathing.
If I cease to do so I will inevitably flatline.

The songs I write are merely my daily journey of trial, redemption, suffering and hope.

In everything I do,
I am intent on bringing out the best.

BRINGING.

Because its continuous and ongoing. It requires identifying, strategic thought and intention to bring the right things to the surface. It requires effort.

OUT.

Because the goods are already there. They just may be laying dormant. Greatness requires chiseling. The process of bringing out requires intentionality.

THE.

Because there is an ultimate best that is divine in nature. A SINGULAR BEST. Everyone has a unique wiring - a best that they and only they possess. A contribution that once brought to the surface will serve as a unique God given purpose that has placed them on earth for such a time as this.

BEST.

Because it is all about the right things. It's about not settling. Because average is not memorable and easily forgettable. Because excellence is worth fighting for.
